Anna holds a Masters with an emphasis on design education and human response to environments. She has over 40 years of experience in the field of design and served 30+ years as an adult educator at the college level.

A late-in-life mom through adoption to a child with complex trauma, developmental delays, autism, and PTSD, Anna switched her life focus to become a trauma-informed parent in attachment theory/practice, regulation, and resilience therapies.

Anna is the founder of Growing @Home – a series of workshops and training opportunities ranging from general interior design topics to trauma-informed care of children and TIPSS – Trauma-Informed Personalized Support Spaces, which uses trauma-informed design principles/practices to create spaces that promote calm, regulation, and self-care.
